SUBSIDENCE SOLUTION FOR COUNCIL PROPERTY
A council owned block of flats in Birmingham was suffering from subsidence, clearly illustrated by the cracking visible in the outer walls.
Geobear were contacted to provide a solution to the problem; crucially an answer was required that would stop the subsidence and also allow residents to stay in their property throughout the duration of works. Geobear’s methods of injecting beneath the property could both secure the structures integrity while allowing the residents to go about their daily lives.
The process for this job would involve injecting Geobear’s expansive geopolymer resins at points underneath the property which would prevent the building from sinking any further. The resins expand and solidify creating a stable footing and a permanent fix for property subsidence and no further structural measures are required.
