Lunchtime Webinar: Road stabilisation – 27 April, 12:00-12:40 GMT
(April 13, 2018)

Changes in soil dynamics and the impact of increased axle loads has gradually degraded our road surfaces. Consequently, both flexible surfaces and concrete slabs are now becoming unstable, resulting in sinking slabs and fracture on the surface.

The problem commonly lies below the surface – over time the heavier loads lead to increased compaction and water ingress leads to washout of granular soils – the result is an inadequate foundation. Re-surfacing offers a short term solution, but the road foundations need stabilising to prevent the same surface damage reappearing.

Join this free webinar to learn about the process of injecting geopolymer beneath road foundations to re-compact by filling voids and increase the bearing capacity of soils and made ground. The process requires no excavation and there is minimal traffic disruption, it is the ideal method to raise sinking slabs and prevent surface fracture.
