Geobear achieve Constructionline Gold Standard (Level 3)

Constructionline is a register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants and is used by the construction industry in the UK. Over 2000 organisations access the Constructionline database. This includes local authorities, central government, and Principal Contractors who require suppliers to be accredited to a high health, safety, environmental, and quality standard before beginning the tender process.

Geobear achieved the Gold Standard (Level 3) accreditation on 12 July 2018.

To achieve this standard Geobear was assessed in the standard health, safety, environmental and quality sectors, plus additional areas of environmental management, quality management, equality and diversity, modern slavery, and bribery and corruption. All the assessments are evidence based.

The verification that comes from this level of scrutiny is important to Geobear for several reasons:

(1) it verifies that the company has high levels of risk management in place;

(2) it confirms the company can be a reliable partner on infrastructure projects;

(3) it enables Geobear to be be added to the procurement list of companies such as Balfour Beatty and Mott MacDonald;

(4) it supports our own internal culture by showing our commitment to safety and quality.
