Home » Coronavirus COVID – 19 FAQ

Due to coronavirus, we've put in place a number of additional measures at the moment, but we are operating as normal.

No-contact Working, Keeping our distance

Under current circumstances, we understand it is important to maintain social distance to keep us all safe. Therefore we are focusing on the importance of no-contact working and offering video calls.

Site Assessments using Video Calls

Where needed we can now provide a site assessment remotely. This means rather than us visiting your property in person, one of our experts can be available online to have a video call with you. Our experts will guide you with your phone's camera around the property to assess the situation and provide advice and potential solutions. To book please complete the form below, or contact 0800 084 3503.

Social Distancing during Works

When we are delivering the repairs to your property, we will ensure that we isolate the treatment areas to protect you and our technicians. We will keep over two metres away and avoid any physical contact. Usually, our repairs are completed outside the building, so we will not need to access your property.

These are unusual times for us all, but with these measures, for Geobear it is very much business as usual. Please contact us using the details below of 0800 084 3503.

How do I know I won’t get a virus from your team?

We take a series of precautions including:

  • Our vehicles are deep cleaned periodically and injection equipment that would be near your home sanitised daily*
  • We take temperatures of all employees.
  • We provide welfare and hence do not need access to your bathroom.
  • Encourage people with symptoms to self-isolate.
  • Our normal procedure is for you not to be in the same room while we are working.
  • If we need to work internally, we can work internally while you are outside as our internal work only lasts few hours generally in case you have concerns or would not prefer us to be in your home.
  • On completion of internal works, we will spray the surfaces with antibacterial liquid to maximise your peace of mind.
