I am responsible for engineering in Geobear. That basically means that my job is to give a yes/no answer to sales on major technical challenges, and oversee the development of our technical competence. I joined Geobear 15 years ago after my corporate career in blue chip companies, thus being one of the first team members to the current team. During this tenure I have been author of a new patent family and dealt closely with intellectual property. I have been working my way from product manager position to the leadership team. It has been great to witness the growth of team from 3 people to over a 100 colleagues in numerous countries. Although work is sometimes hard and deadlines tight, I am extreme happy to be working at the forefront of changing an industry!

I have been in Geotechnical Engineering for over 35 years now. Years before I joined the company I was well aware of the solutions it provided and I always thought that there was so much more it could offer.
It is really great to see ground engineering carried out in a clean, non disruptive manner after years of mud and concrete. The value add the solutions bring to the client are the real benefit and the societal impact is something special and great to be involved with.

I’ve been working with Geobear for over 14 years. I started in marketing, then moved into licensing, was directly in the contracting side during my time in the UK including running that division and I’m now focused on business development of our processes in order to ensure a seamless delivery of our solutions.
Initially, I was attracted to the innovative solutions and the incredibly positive impact they have on customers all over the world. There really can be a better way to do things and I wanted to be a part of the journey that is bringing this knowledge to a wider audience. All of this still holds true today, but more than that I now know that the impact extends beyond individual customers and can be a positive benefit for society as a whole. It has been an exciting and varied journey.
For me personally, growth is pivotal to life and throughout my career with Geobear I have been provided with amazing opportunities to grow and learn. My first boss in Geobear taught me that we should seek out the best knowledge and apply that. Ideally, you have a strong geotechnical contracting and/ or civil engineering background and a good grasp of financial and KPI reporting.
