Following an 18 month period of assessment and testing, Geobear is delighted to have secured an industry-first BBA certification for geopolymer soil treatment.

The British Board of Agrément (BBA) is an independent, regulated body for the UK construction industry that helps to create accountability and mitigate risk.

BBA Agrément Certificate is a mark of excellence based on rigorous national and European standards that validate a construction product’s specialist formulation, capability and uniqueness.

Geobear is the inventor of the geopolymer injection process and achieving this certificate gives our customers the peace of mind that our methods are tried, tested and scrutinised by an independent body.

The Agrément Certificate Product Sheet relates to GEOBEAR(2) Geopolymer, a soil treatment technique consisting of injection into the soil of a two-component geopolymer with high expansion capacity with laser level control. The system is for use in improving the
geotechnical and hydraulic properties of the sub-surface soil, including but not limited to, improving load-settlement response, filling voids and/or cavities, reducing leakage and/or permeability, stabilising or lifting structures, treating shrinkage and swelling, controlling
real-time displacement, controlling liquefaction, injection of geopolymer pillars.
